Thank you to my parents, who are both Air Force vets.

And thank you especially to this man, my own Navy Guy, who spent 25 years in service to democratic ideals. I’m so proud of you. You’re a wonderful husband and father and my very best friend. We are so lucky to have you in our lives.

As you can see, there are no smiles like “home from deployment” smiles.
