I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. We each contributed something to the feast and I made five pies, two pumpkin, one cheesecake, one apple dutch pie and a sugar free apple pie with dried cranberries for a tart taste. The 22 lb Turkey took five and a half hours and the stuffing took all of five minutes. We ate, played darts, the young adults played cards or Pac man with the kids. All cell phones were taken until the food was done. Then we played cell phone trivia on tv and I won a round. We were only 11 this year usually we are 20 to 25 but people went on vacation and others stayed at home with their new families.
I am thankful for writers who fill my mind with stories and bring me on adventures like you do.
Rosie is too cute to ignore. As readers/friends we are grateful that you share so much of yourself with us. There were 7 of us. Three generations. We ate. We played a wild game of Chicken Foot. And later 3 of us played May I. By that time we were too tired to be wild.
Rosie is so cute. Enjoy her. glad the kids made it home. I had my children and grand-kids. A good day.
