Hey, y’all. I wanted to pop in and say Merry Christmas. Santa is evidently bringing me neck surgery.

Not to overshare. and please skip if you want to avoid anything negative during Christmas week, but here’s what’s happening:

When I wrenched my neck, I evidently popped a disc out of place, and I’m still in just a horrible, shocking amount of pain. The nerve pain and weakness in my right hand mean that I can’t even open a water bottle or type. And the meds I have to take are putting me in the path of an ugly bout of depression. So, not to whine, but this month has sucked lol.

I’m sorry, but I’m taking A DEAD END HALLOWEEN off sale entirely. At this point, I feel like the book is cursed, not to be superstitous, but every time it’s about to go on sale something awful happens. ☹️ If/when I write it and it’s ready to go, it can be a surprise.

I’m sorry to be such a downer at Christmas, but I’m feeling pretty defeated. Please add me to your thoughts and prayers. I love you guys, and I hope you have a wonderful holiday.
